1st Annual Chili Championship & Corn Hole Tournament
*benefitting youth missions of Clemmons UMC

Sunday, October 16 4pm-7pm (end time is estimate as it will depend upon how many teams sign up for the cornhole tournament)
Where? - The back parking lot of Clemmons UMC. In case of rain we will be inside the new and old fellowship halls.
Cost: $5 gets you in and gives you 5 tickets to “vote” for your favorite chili and dessert. Additional votes can be purchased in $1 increments.

How Can I Participate? If you would like to sign-up, email c1chiliandcornhole@gmail.com. You must sign up for a chili team, baking, or cornhole no later than Wednesday, October 12.

*Come eat chili! 
Your $5 will go directly to support the youth missions of Clemmons UMC. You will have a chance to taste various chili recipes and then vote by using your tickets to buy bowls of chili and vote for your favorite. We will also have a kids dessert bake-off that you will be able to vote for.

*Join a Cornhole Team!
$10 gets your 2-person team entered into the brackets. You will play against other teams in hopes of getting to thefinals, winning a trophy your own corn hole set, and ultimate CUMC bragging rights!   Download the Adult Team Registration Form.
Kids under 12 who want to participate will have their own bracket for the tournament. Under 12 teams are only $5.  Download Under 12 Team Registration Form.

*Cook Chili!
If you have a great secret recipe or just love to cook, come out with your apron on, ready to compete for the trophy and bragging rights! Cost to participate is $25 per team. Please see attached information on the chili championship.

*Donate Boards and Bags!
The Clemmons:One youth will be building corn hole boards to auction off the night of the tournament. If you would like to donate a set of boards or bags, they will be auctioned off and the proceeds will support youth missions. Throughout the afternoon, you will be able to vote via silent auction on hand made and custom painted boards so bring your checkbook!

*Kids Bake-off!
Calling all junior bakers, we want you to bring your favorite recipe to be shared with the participants and voted on in 4 categories for some great kid baker prizes! The categories cookies, cake, pies, and other. Votes will be $1 each. See details on attached sheet.  Download the Bake-Off Form

Come spend the afternoon with your church family and support the mission projects of Clemmons:One. It will be a day filled with friendly competition, great food, and fellowship!
