Welp, we finished the month of temptations: weed, alcohol, and sex.  This needs to be an ongoing discussion, as these areas of life will continue to knock on the doors of our hearts, if you will.  The older you get, certain areas of temptation don't get any easier.

But it went well.  I mean, 34 students came to hear a talk about SEX.  at CHURCH.  If that doesnt' prove God's existence, than I don't know what does.

But there CAN be resistance.  God WILL help you and me overcome temptations we face.  And you WILL BE forgiven for the moments when you inevitably fail.  Do your best to cut from your life the thing that makes you sin, and when you do fail, receive God's forgiveness and walk away, striving to not repeat it again.  Then go and love and forgive others as God has forgiven and loved you.

This month I'm asking U GOT SKILLZ??  Spiritual gifts are a weird, quasi-religious sounding term that never seems to make much sense.  What?  spiritual gifts?  Like ESP?  Like levitation?  Like making wings pop out of my back?

not quite.  We aren't X-Men.

Spiritual gifts are things that we all have, and we don't even know it.  And they exist for the good of other people and for the good of the church.

So no, you can't make something levitate but you may be able to show Christ's love to someone in a way you never did before.
